The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman believes it has not been receiving some of the more serious complaints during the pandemic.
Now the NHS is returning to normal service the PHSO says it is important that it hears any concerns of care and treatment that may have been delayed or any concerns around patient safety.
A public consultation is running until September to help form the new framework for dealing with complaints and the Ombudsman is looking for as much feedback as possible.
