Healthwatch South Tyneside has today published its annual report for 2022/23.
Highlights during the year include our reports and recommendations to commissioners and providers about GP access and waiting times for NHS procedures.
We summarise the key issues raised by service users contacting us for support and advice, with the lack of NHS dentists, problems arranging Covid vaccination appointments and issues with repeat prescriptions among the most common complaints.
The report also looks forward to our priorities for 2023/24 – dentistry, GP access and care in the community.
