Healthwatch is inviting people who have recently used – or tried to use – dental or hospital services in South Tyneside to take part in a virtual focus group to feedback their experiences.
With major disruption to all healthcare services over the past 18 months due to the Covid pandemic, we want to assess whether patients are yet regaining access to the services they need.
Our first virtual focus group, being held via Zoom from 10am to 11.30am on Monday October 18th, is looking at dental services.
Healthwatch would like to talk to anyone who has either visited or tried to make an appointment with a dentist in South Tyneside recently.
We want to know about your experience getting an appointment, whether you received the treatment you needed and if there is anything you think could be improved.
We will then hold a second virtual focus group in November where we will be discussing your experiences with hospital waiting times – date tbc.
