Called Because We All Care, the new campaign is being led by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Healthwatch England.
It aims to help services identify and address quality issues and support patients in response to COVID-19 by encouraging people to share feedback on their experiences of health and social care services in England.
CQC is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and regulating all health and social care services in the country. Healthwatch England is the independent national champion for people who use health and social care services.
The campaign will be targeting all health and social care users in England, and front-line staff working in health and social care, both nationally and regionally.
Throughout the year the campaign will focus on different population groups including people with a learning disability and/ or autism, carers, people with a long-term condition and older adults.
CQC and HWE will also be continuously working to reach out to Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) and people from communities that they don’t usually hear from on a regular basis.
Give feedback on care
You can also tell CQC and HWE about services in your area such as your GP, dentist or care home. While routine inspections have been paused, CQC has continued to inspect in response to risk and concerns raised.
This can be done online here or by emailing enquiries@cqc.org.uk or by calling 03000 616161.
