We want to hear about your experiences of NHS dentistry.
The Healthwatch network in North East and North Cumbria is working with the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICB) to gather evidence from people who have accessed services and the wider population to help the ICB to understand:
- Need for further investment in dentistry services to improve access and how to deliver this
- Consider innovative ways to improve access to NHS dentistry – particularly in ‘cold spot areas’
- Improved communications plan to inform residents of their options
We want to understand the experiences of residents trying to access dentistry care when they need it, including:
- How people access the support they need
- People’s knowledge of what to do when they need help
- Test how services respond to someone needing help
To do this, a new survey on dental care has launched that needs feedback from YOU. The information you provide will be stored safely and will be used anonymously to help us work to improve local services.
If you are living or working in South Tyneside, have recent experiences with using or trying to access dental services, then share your experiences with us here: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/DentistNENC23/
If you want to tell us about your experience of dental care for your child or someone you care for, you can complete the survey on their behalf, but please complete a separate survey for each person.
We need your views and feedback to help shape future services, including planning the next phase of the NHS’s dental recovery plan in the region.
The survey closes on March 31 and as a thank you for your time we are offering £100 of Love-to-Shop vouchers to a lucky prize draw winner.
If you require a paper copy or have any questions about this survey, please email info@healthwatchsouthtyneside.co.uk or call 0191 4897952.
